Мадди Уотерс (Muddy Waters, наст. имя McKinley Morganfield, 4 апреля 1915 — 30 апреля 1983 г.) — влиятельный американский блюзмен, который считается основоположником чикагской школы блюза. Его визитной карточкой стала выпущенная в 1948 году композиция «Rollin' Stone», давшая название группе The Rolling Stones и журналу Rolling Stone. Уотерс едва ли не первым распознал талант Чака Берри и помог ему заполучить контракт с звукозаписывающей компанией. Одним из первых стал использовать электрогитару. Подводя итоги 20-го века, журнал Rolling Stone включил его в двадцатку величайших музыкантов в истории рок-н-ролла.
