Alternating between his working trio (with bassist Ben Street & Adam Cruz on drums) and Wayne Shorter Quartet bandmates John Patitucci & Brian Blade, ...Till Then finds Danilo joined by Motherland Band saxophonist Donny McCaslin and fellow Verve artist vocalist Lizz Wright. Wright is featured on two tracks: a stirring arrangement of Joni Mitchell's "Fiddle and the Drum" and the title track, for which Lizz also wrote the moving lyrics.
