Группа 3rd Force была организована пианистом William Aura в 1994 и представляет из себя классическое джазовое трио. В том же 1994 г группа выпустила свой дебютный альбом, который так и назывался 3rd Force и был тепло принят в джазовом мире, поскольку William Aura к тому моменту уже был довольно известным пианистом и имел несколько сольных альбомов. В настоящее время они выпустили семь альбомов и группу называют не иначе как Super trio. К сожалению в прошлом году объявила о своей ликвидации HIGHER OCTAVE MUSIC, под лейблом которой выступала эта группа и с 2005 г новых альбомов не замечено.
