Driver Cleaner NET – программа предназначена для удаления компонентов драйверов, которые были оставлены после удаления стандартными методами. Поддерживает большое количество драйверов от ATI, nVidia, Creative, Realtek, SIS, 3Dfx, S3 и других(всего 50 типов драйверов). Это усовершенствованная и улучшенная версия Driver Cleaner. Первое, что надо сделать, так это удалить драйверы через панель управления и после перезагрузки запустить программу. Дальше выбрать нужный профиль для удаления драйвера и запустить очистку. Желательно ознакомится с файлом readmе после установки программы. Программа поддерживает темы для Windows. В программу входит компонент Cab Cleaner. Как понятно из названия, он очищает cab-файлы с драйверами после установки сервисных пакетов. Можно выбрать любой cab-архив для очистки.
After uninstalling drivers there will always be driver remainings, those remainings can cause problems. Driver Cleaner.NET can remove those remainings so that the new driver install will be clean.
1. Here you can select which cleaning file you want to use.
2. If you select this then there can be added more cleaning filters to 5 by selecting them in 1 and clicking on 4.
3. This is the button to remove one or more cleaning filters from 5.
4. This is the button to add the cleaning filter from 1 to 5.
5. Here you will see multiple cleaning filters if you added them.
6. With this button there will become more details visible on what files, directories and registry keys are deleted.

Tools
Cab Cleaner: This will start Cab Cleaner.NET
Live Update: This will start Live Update.NET
Backup / Log: All the backups and log files from the program are shown. You can select them and delete them.
Restore: All the backups that are created by the program are shown and can be selected to restore them.
Log Viewer: View the log files that are saved and the ability to print them.
Settings: The program settings can be changed here.
Help
Help: This opens the help file.
About Driver Cleaner.NET, website link and email and the current license holder.
To use the cleaning filter profiles first check 2 "Select multiple cleaning filters". To save a profile: first add the filters. Then right mouse click on 5. In the menu press profile.
In the new window that will open, enter a name and press save to save the profile.
To load a profile: right mouse click on 5. In the menu press profile.
In the new windows that will open select a profile and press load. The profile will be loaded and you can close the window.

Log Settings
Enable Logging: This will enable the creating of log files.
Log Cleaning: At the end of the cleaning all details about deleted objects will be saved to a log file.
Log Errors: All errors that occur will be saved in a log file.
Cleaning Options
Files: When this is not selected, then no files will be deleted.
Directories: When this is not selected, then no directories will be deleted.
Registry: When this is not selected, then nothing in the registry will be deleted.

Backup
Backup Deleted Files: This will backup the files it will delete.
Backup Deleted Registry: This will backup the registry items it will delete.
Backup Deleted Directories: This will backup the directories it will delete.
Full Registry Backup: This will make a full backup of the registry.
Compression
Use Compression: This will compress all the backups. The extension is dzip, but it is a normal zip file.

Use Notification: When this is enabled, it will show a popup when the Backup and/or Log folder size is reached.

Cab Cleaner Extraction and Compression
Use Alternative Method: Only disable this when you experience problems in Cab Cleaner. When enabled it will use the new method.
User Account Control (UAC)
Disable User Account Control (UAC): This is a new security setting in newer Windows versions like Windows Vista. It is better to disable it. After disabling it you need to reboot the system first.
Search
File Search
Enable File Search: When this is enabled, it will search for the files. This can take several minutes.
Registry Search
Enable Registry Search: When this is enabled, it will search the registry with preset information from the filter. This take a long time.
Search >> Directories
Directories: When File Search is enabled, the program will search in these directories.
Search >> Exclude
Exclude: When File Search is enabled, the program will not search in these directories.
Display
Show Splash Screen: This will show the splash screen when the program starts.
Show Warning Screen: This will show the warning screen when the program starts.
Display >> Font
Font: Select the font that the program will use.
Font Size: Set the size of the font in the program.
Display >> Language
Language: Select the program language.
Live Update
Automatically check for updates: This will run a program in the background that will check for updates.
Install updates automatically: When there are updates, they will be installed automatically.
Notify about updates: When there are updates, there will be a notification window.
Start Driver Cleaner.NET: When it is enabled, Driver Cleaner.NET will be started after running Live Update.
Check every: Here you can set the time in minutes that will pass before the program checks again.
Proxy Server
Use Proxy Server: When this is enabled, Live Update, Automatic Check and Driver Version Check will use the proxy server setting.
Address: The full address of the proxy server.
Port: The port of the proxy server.
Username: Enter the username that is needed for the proxy server. Leave empty if no username is required.
Password: Enter the password that is needed for the proxy server. Leave empty if no password is required.

Windows Vista Note
Make sure to run Driver Cleaner.NET on Windows Vista with administrator privileges. The program should ask for this, but if it does not ask for it use 1 of the following ways to run it with administrator privileges.
Right mouse click on the shortcut icon and select "Run as Administrator"
Right mouse click on the shortcut icon and select "Properties" then select the tab "Compatibility" and check the box "Run this program as an administrator" then click Apply and then OK. Now when you click the shortcut icon it will automatically ask for administrator rights. See also the screenshot below for the Compatibility tab.
