Evernote - универсальная программа для хранения любого типа заметок и информации. EverNote позволяет хранить печатные и рукописные напоминания, части веб-страниц, электронные и телефонные письма, адреса, пароли, идеи, схемы, документы и многое другое. Все это легко разбивается на категории и сортируется между ними методом Drag&Drop.; Программа интегрируется с Internet Explorer, Outlook, Firefox и Thunderbird, позволяя через специальную кнопку на панели инструментов заносить данные, полученные этими приложениями (веб-страницы, письма, ссылки, исходный код) в EverNote. Кроме того, присутствует лист заданий для составления напоминаний или расписания дня. Хранящиеся данные можно защитить паролем, распечатать, отправить на e-mail, а также импортировать или экспортировать в файл формата XML.
