• Vista. TUT now runs on Vista.
• Real-time display. TUT now shows your running tasks in real time. By default it will refresh the display every 10 seconds. You can quicken this refresh frequency to three seconds, or actual real-time (less than one second), or you can slow it down to 20 seconds.
• Popup Help everywhere. Hover the mouse on any part of the screen and TUT will popup a help tooltip explaining exactly what your mouse is currently pointing at.
• Real-time Performance Graphs. TUT now displays at all times, in the top right corner, CPU and Memory graphs continually updated in real-time for an instant visual check of the overall performance of the PC. This is complemented by new CPU and Memory columns against each task, also continually updated so the user can see which tasks are gobbling up CPU or Memory.
• Display Filtering. You can fi lter the display of Tasks, Services, and Startups on the Manufacturer or Status columns so that, for example, you can choose to display only Microsoft Tasks, or display only Tasks with a Not OK status, etc...
• Superb explanation of services. TUT 4 is now as strong on SVCHOST hosted services as it is on Tasks and Startups, with the same fi rst rate plain-language explanations and recommendations that TUT users have been used to over the years.
• And a lot more... such as a more attractive layout, ability to customize some colours and preferences, a Dependency Explorer for advanced users, a more comprehensive log of everything done with TUT, a fantastic System Info screen which details every piece of hardware and software your PC has, and more.
