One Two Three

This album is typical of the early 80's New York underground disco sound.

Released in 1983 Bobby Orlando's song craft went from high-powered sequencer base tracks (throbbing punchy bass lines) to more radio song orientated style (i guess more of a new wavish style), but still containing the Hi-NRG disco feel of the time. The two main singles off this album are "Runaway" (not "Runaway Girl") and "Another Knife In My Back" both are good tracks.

Bobby Orlando sings on the following tracks "Runaway" and "Another Knife In My Back", but the rest of the male vocals are all done by Tony Caso.

In my opinion the weakest track on here is "Midnight Fantasy". The rest of the album is good, despite the slow jam track "It Would Break Your Heart" which is not bad.

Pet Shop Boys fans might take notice on the track "Falling In Love With Myself". Reason why? The main chorous sounds like they ripped it off and used it on their 1987 song "Rent".

когда то на катушке был чей то концерт(а может то сборник был? ),и там была песня-
Midnite Fantasy. тот вариант был намного интереснее-более дисковый,звук был более плотным. случаем Вы не в курсе того,что это за группа была?

Близкую по названию композицию ещё исполняет Hot Line - "Fantasy" - то же творение Bobby O.

Мне также ещё известна одноимённая композиция группы Krokus - "Midnite Fantasy", но это хард-рок !

Так, что скорее всего у Вас на катушке была один из 7"- или 12"-сингловых ремиксированных вариантов "Midnite Fantasy" Bobby O - ну а синглов у него, как грязи...
